First Season’s Success of Rushden Mission C.C.
|
In its first year of League Cricket the Rushden Mission C.C. has met with brilliant success, carrying off in convincing manner the honours of the Kettering and District League, Division II (South).
A well balanced side, strong in batting down to number 11, it has had few “off days” during a full series of well fought games.
The club’s season had a glorious culmination last Saturday, when the Mission obtained a sensational victory over a Rest of League eleven.
