The 2nd Rushden Company Boys’ Brigade

Off to camp
Rushden & Higham Boys’ Brigade went to a camp at Holland-on-Sea, Essex in 1937.

The equipment was transported there by PX Ltd.,
in this lorry formerly owned by
Bert Scroxton & Sons Ltd.

Ken Ambridge sent the picture and names of the driver and “advance party”:-
Len Ward (PX driver), Rex Hollis, Jack Ward (cook, Raunds), Tom Thacker, Bill Gilks, Jack Tomas,
Ken Ambridge, Harry Pollard & Jack Ainsworth.
