03 Sep

School re-opened.  Staff as before, except that Mr R J Blencowe has joined the staff.  The extra teacher is to ensure that classes are not too large.  The extra class will be accommodated in the woodwork shed for the time being.  WE hope to receive a mobile classroom as soon as possible.  There are now ten classes in the school and they have been renamed.  Class one to Class ten.  The youngest classes are now 1 and 2 for seven year old children.  Class three is a remedial class for the lower half of the school and class eight serves the same purpose for the top four classes.

Proper re-organisation cannot take place until the Mobile classroom arrives.  The numbers in the upper classes can then be reduced as much as possible, without interfering with the purpose of class eight, mainly remedial teaching.
