Sale of Hoare's Farm 1910

Good Sale – At the two days’ auction sale conducted by Messrs. Pendered and Son on Monday and Tuesday, on Mr. Hoare’s farm at Yelden, the 34 horses realised £1,261 11s., the highest price being 65 guineas paid for “Prince”. 179 beasts fetched £1,986 17s. 6d., 574 sheep sold at £955 6s. 6d., and 101 pigs £140 7s. 6d., and implements etc. brought in another £600, or a total of close on £5,000.
