War Memorial 1939-1945

Conjointly With The Northampton General Hospital

A vision of the Fine Memorial this can be with your help
To those who freely served the common cause,
In garb of blue or khaki battle-dress
To civil guards before our hearth and home,
To those who suffered through the years of stress:
To all – in grateful memory. R.W.N.

the entrance hall and the hospital was renamed as Rushden Memorial Hospital.
In the 1980s the names were eventually inscribed on the main War Memorial.
