In Memoriam

TOMPKINS - In memory of my dear husband who was killed in action on Oct. 22nd, 1917 - Nellie Tompkins, WRAF, late of 105 Washbrook-road, Rushden.

What would I give his hand to clasp,
His dear kind face to see;
To hear his voice, his welcome smile,
That meant so much for me?

I often sit and think of him
When I am all alone,
But his memory is the only thing
That I can call my own.
