Mr Albert Panter
His health having broken down after 4 years duty in the R.A.F., Mr George Albert Panter (28) of 3 Brookfield-road, Rushden, died on Wednesday night at Rushden House Sanatorium where he had been under treatment for several months.
Born at Rushden, Mr Panter followed the example of his father in joining the Mission Church and Band, and worked as a clicker at Messrs John White’s Lime-street factory.
Joining the Air force in 1940, he served as a military policeman and was a corporal at the time of his discharge. He leaves a widow and one son, Roger, aged nearly two years.
The funeral will take place at Rushden on Saturday.
