Pte. Reginald NobleRushden Soldier Killed in Action

Only son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Noble, of 3, Oval-road, Rushden, Pte. Reginald Noble of an infantry regiment has been killed in action in Normandy. He was 28 years of age and had been in the Army for over three years, formerly being employed at Messrs. John White’s Newton-road factory. Educated at the Newton-road and Intermediate Schools, Pte. Noble went through the Park-road Methodist Sunday School and Bible Class. Later he became a member of the Men’s Adult School and the Young Men’s Institute, for whom he played football.
