Rushden Soldier Killed - His Parents' Second Bereavement

Mr and Mrs Mead, of 41, Pemberton-street, Rushden, have received official news last Saturday of the death of a soldier son at the front. This, we regret to say, is the second son they have lost in war.

A week previous to the receipt of the official news Mr and Mrs Mead had, we understood heard from unofficial sources that their son was wounded, and the information given led them to believe the worst.
