Rushden's Casualty List Men Killed, Wounded and Gassed In the Great German Offensive

Pte Dennis Oliver Knight, Machine Gun Corps, of Rushden, died of wounds received in France on April 12th. Deceased, who was 19 years of age, and joined up on May 7th last, had been in France but three weeks. He worked for Messrs. Bull and Clayton of Manton road, Rushden, as a clicker before joining the Colours. He is the only son of Mr F G Knight of 1, Winchester-road, Rushden. News of his death came from the Record Office on Sunday last, accompanied by the usual notice of sympathy from the King, etc. Mr and Mrs Knight wish to thank all friends of Winchester-road and district for their kind expressions of sympathy in their sad bereavement.
