Thomas Robert Johnson

Born at Northcote, Victoria, Australia 1898.

Enlisted in the 54th Infantry AIF on
29th December 1917, at Northcote.

He was a Methodist and worked as a clerk.

Benjamin and Ellen Johnson were living in Cromwell Road, Rushden at the time of the 1891 census, aged 20 and 19 respectively. They are named as the parents of Thomas Robert who was born at Northcote, Victoria, Australia in 1898, according to the cemetery records.
Ben & Ellen probably left family here, who would have been aunts & uncles to their son, so perhaps one of them put his name forward for the Rushden War Memorial.

No other Thomas Robert Johnson has been found.
