Horace was born 28th May 1910 and came here from Manchester. He was enrolled at Rushden Newton Road School on 22nd May 1922, and was then living at 8 Queens Terrace. He moved up to the Intermediate School in 1925, and is commemorated on the school's Roll of Honour.
