Rushden Soldier Missing

Mrs. A Denton, of 91, Irchester-road, Rushden, has received news that her husband Dvr. Charles Arthur Denton, RA.S.C., last heard of as serving in the Mediterranean, has been posted as “missing at sea”. Aged 33, Dvr. Denton was called to the service nearly two years ago from Messrs. John White’s factory in Newton-road, and went to N. Africa 18 months ago. Formerly he was a keen airgun shooter connected with the Athletic Club. He has an 11-year-old daughter, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. G Denton, reside at 19 Denmark-road.
