Rushden Soldier Missing - News Wanted of Sergeant E.R.Cooper

Mrs. Morris, of Crown Cottages, Ascot-under-Wychwood, near Oxford, formerly of Rushden, has received news that her son, Sergt. E. R. Cooper, 60211, Royal Fusiliers, has been missing since March 25th, and she would be glad if any of his comrades can give her information as to his whereabouts.  Sergt. Cooper formerly attended the Park-road Wesleyan Church, Rushden, and is the son of the late Mr. Frank Cooper, manager of the British United Shoe Machinery Company at Rushden.

Rushden Soldier Killed - Fate of Sergt E R Cooper

Mrs Morris, of Hawthorn Villa, Mount Pleasance, Charlbury, Oxon., has heard from the War Office that her son, Sergt E R Cooper, of the Royal Fusiliers, who has been listed as missing since March last year, is now presumed to have been killed in action on March 25th, 1918, as they have not been able to trace him. The deceased soldier was the son of the late Mr F E Cooper of Rushden.
