Rushden Australian’s Sacrifice

The sad news has been received in Rushden that Signaller “Reg” Clark, of the Australian Army, was killed in action on Sept. 17th. The deceased soldier is a son of Mr. William Clark, late of Rushden, now of Sydney, Australia, and the grandson of Mr. William Clark, of Moor-road, Rushden. He and his brother “Jack” joined up together, and were together when “Reg” was killed. Signaller Clark’s father was well know at Leicester for years as a shoe trade journalist.
