Rushden Soldier Missing - Pte G Hill - Information Wanted

Mr and Mrs F Hill, of 12 Grove-street, Rushden, have received unofficial news that their son, Pte G Hill, has been missing since Aug. 18th. They would be very grateful to anyone who can give them any further news about Pte Hill.

Rushden Soldier Killed - Private George Hill - Previously Reported Missing

Mr and Mrs F Hill, of 12, Grove-street, Rushden have this week received news that their son, Pte Geo. Hill, 17817, Northants Regt., missing since August 18th, last year, is now presumed by the War Office to have been killed on or about that date.

Deceased, who was 27 years of age, enlisted in April, 1915, at which time he was working for Messrs. Robinson Brothers. Mr and Mrs Hill have three other sons serving with the Colours - First-Air Mechanic Percy Hill, of the R.F.C; Trooper Jack Hill, Beds Yeomanry, now with the BEF; and Pte Frank Hill, Northants (Pioneers), who has been wounded and who is now in hospital in London.
