Irchester Road Shrine

THE COMMITTEE of the war shrine for Irchester Road, Gordon Street, Oakley Road and Pytchley Road have just sent 2s. to each of 54 men whose names are on the Roll of Honour.

Whist Drive at Rushden - Irchester-Road Roll of Honour
Last night a whist drive was held at the Windmill Club, Rushden, in aid of the Irchester-road Roll of Honour, and was followed by a dance. Mr Clark was M.C. for the whist, and Mr S Denton for the dance. The whist drive winners were: Ladies, 1 Mrs Joyce, 2 Mrs Gell; gentlemen, 1 Mr Waller, 2 Mr Harris. About £8 was raised.
