1914 - 2014
Centenary of the start of WWI

From August - November 2014 a garden of ceramic poppies was laid out in the moat around the walls of the Tower of London. One poppy was 'planted' for every man of the British and Commonwealth troops killed during WWI - 888,246. Each poppy has been purchased with the proceeds going to support six service charities in the UK.
