A 1953 Bristol KSW with ECW bodywork, formerly United Counties JBD 965.
It is parked on the main highway 74 between Bryson city and the town of Cherokee on the Indian reservation in the Smoky Mountains. It has survived very harsh winters, and a week after we left that area it had some of the worst snow for many years.
The bus was used by the RAFT company to transport its customers to the Tuckasegee river: a notice said no return on bus unless you change into dry clothing! That's why the seats are in pretty good condition.
