Sanders & Sanders
Events

Wellingborough News, 14th January 1887, transcribed by Kay Collins

EMPLOYEES TREAT—On Saturday last the employees of Messrs. Sanders and Sanders were entertained to a liberal tea by their employers. The spread took place in the factory, and the gathering proved a thoroughly enjoyable one.

After the withdrawal of the cloth the evening was wiled away with songs, recitations, social games, &c., a chief feature of the evening being the amusing and astonishing feats of legerdemain of a local professor of the art. Everything that could contribute to the enjoyment of the evening was generously provided, and twelve o'clock came but too quickly when the proceedings terminated.
