Dilks and Martin
From Trade Directories this company existed between 1919 & 1965.
They began trading in Griffiths Street, before moving to Victoria Road.

A presentation of a smokers’ cabinet was made by the employees of Messrs. Nurrish and Pallett to Mr. Dilks, who is leaving the firm after ten years in their service to start a business of his own. Mr. A. James made the presentation on behalf of his fellow-workers. Mr. Dilks replied in suitable terms.

Mr. H. Martin, Rushden
The funeral of Mr. Harry Martin, a partner in the firm of Dilks and Martin, Victoria Road, Rushden, took place at Kettering Crematorium on Wednesday. Mr. Martin was 81 and had lived in Rushden for nearly 50 years. He died at Northampton General Hospital on Sunday, following an operation, after a fall in his garden. He leaves a widow, one son and one daughter.
