The above-named Company was formed in June of this year, and although of such recent birth, shows every indication of being one of the largest and most progressive concerns in the United Kingdom, the Directorate being composed of well-known business men, with long and creditable records. The works are equipped with the latest and most approved type of machinery.

Each Department is under the careful supervision of a thoroughly qualified Head, the concern having had the foresight to surround itself with a staff whose efficiency cannot be excelled.

The business now being done and the projected extensions (the first part of the contract having already been placed), will, when completed, ensure an output second to none in the country, is evidence of the soundness of the policy of the directorate. The present buildings will subsequently be used for the manufacture of all kinds of Coloured Leather, and the new factory will be entirely devoted to the production of all Black Finished Leather.

The after-the-war productions to be manufactured will be as shewn in the list below, but Army Side Leather will also continue to be one of the principal productions.

If, when times become normal, the Germans are allowed to again enter our markets, they will find one of their strongest competitors in the Nene Valley Tanning Co., whose directing head, Mr. Tigh, has the reputation of being able to produce all kinds of Chrome leathers equal to any that have yet been placed in this market. In fact some of the proposed productions have not yet been manufactured in England, and a few of them not even in Germany.
