James Hyde (Rushden) Ltd

This is one of the most progressive houses in Rushden, and has reached very large proportions by the hard work and industry of the principal. Mr. James Hyde commenced business in partnership some twelve years ago in a small way. Six years later he entered into full possession of the business, which has prospered exceedingly since that time. In 1907 the present factory was built, and two extensions have been made in recent years. The works are amongst the largest in Rushden at the present time, and there is a capacity for 10,000 pairs. Medium grades of every description form principal portion of the firm's productions, and in all there are some lines of exceptional value. Welted goods, M.S., F.S., and riveted, are among the firm's lines, and on the Finance and Estate and Highways and Lighting Committees, he is punctual and attentive to his duties, and much interested in the welfare of Rushden.
