This business was first established at Kettering about 12 years ago, afterwards removing to Irthlingborough, and then again to Rushden. It has been established in Rushden now about 7 years, and has supplied most of the houses in the district with motive power. The Company since its formation has undergone several changes in the membership of the firm, the present head being Mr. E. Pack. The chief business of the firm has been that of the installation of Gas Engines and Plants, Shafting, Gearing, etc. for Boot and Shoe factories, and Leather Dressing Works complete, repairs to Boot and Shoe Machinery, and general accessories to the Boot and Shoe and Leather industries.
