Whitby - Bandey

The Marriage took place at the Independent Wesleyan Church, Rushden, on January 9th, of Corpl. R. T. Whitby, M.T., A.S.C., eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. T. Whitby, of Fitzwilliam-street, Rushden, to Miss Evelyn May Bandey, fourth daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Josiah Bandey, of King’s-road, Rushden, The Rev. C. J. Keeler officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, was accompanied by two bridesmaids—Miss Whitby (sister of the bridegroom) and Miss Irene Bandey (sister of the bride). Mr. H. V. Whitby (brother of the bridegroom) carried out the duties of best man. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the bridegroom’s home.
