Bill Scholes also wrote music for his bands. Here is detail from just a few sheets of the music.
The conductor's book (above) has the whole score for four pieces of music and it was printed in 1938 by the Salvation Army publishing company. It includes "Captain and Lieutenant" - a cornet duet, and the sheets (top left) shows the music for each individual instrument for the cornet duet, written by Bill.
The picture middle left shows part of the 1st soloist's music.
