WeddingA pretty wedding was solemnised in the Wesleyan Chapel on Saturday week, the contracting parties being Miss Gladys Lilley, of Wollaston-road, Irchester, and Corpl. R. Robinson, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. Robinson, of Alfred-street, Rushden, the bride, who was given away by her uncle, Mr. A. Deighton, was dressed in grey cashmere, with hat to match, and carried a sheaf of lilies, the gift of the bridegroom. Her two attendants were Miss G. Robinson (sister of the bridegroom) and Miss E. Sawfoot (friend of the bride), who wore costumes with hats to match, also gold brooches, the gifts of the bridegroom.
The service was choral, the officiating minister being Rev. J. Penrose Hodgson, superintendent of the Circuit. The bride is a member of the choir. The happy pair were the recipients of some of handsome and useful presents.
