The wedding took place on Easter Sunday of Miss Lillian Beatrice Baker, second daughter of Mr. W. Baker, of 20, Glassbrook-road, Rushden, and Mr. Frederick Walter Robinson, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Robinson, of 22, Queen-street, Rushden. The ceremony was conducted at St. Peter’s Church by the Vicar (Rev. P. J. Richards, M.A.)
The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a neat Elmhurst grey dress, trimmed with grey silk and silk insertion, and wore a hat of Wedgwood blue silk straw trimmed with white plumes. She was attended by one bridesmaid, Miss Maggie Gertrude Robinson (sister of the bridegroom), who wore a blue costume. Her hat was of Wedgwood blue silk trimmed with cinnamon plumes. After the ceremony a reception was held at the bride’s home. There were many useful and handsome presents.
