Ringrose—Pettitt

At St. Mary's Church on Sunday, Miss Ellen Louisa Ann Pettitt, third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. Pettitt, of Ealing-terrace, Spencer Park, was married to Mr. Albert Edward Alexander Ringrose, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Ringrose of Leicester. The service was conducted by the Ven. A. Kitchin (Rector of Rushden). The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a grey silk dress with hat to match. She was attended by three bridesmaids, Miss Maud Pettitt and Mrs. R. Elmer (sisters of the bride) and Miss Florrie Ringrose (sister of the bridegroom).

The bridesmaids were attired in cream silk with hats to match. Mr. Thomas Pettitt (father of the bride) acted as best man. A reception was held at the bride's home after the ceremony. There were some beautiful and useful presents. Mr. and Mrs. Ringrose subsequently left Rushden for Leicester, where the honeymoon is being spent.
