The wedding was solemnised in the Independent Wesleyan Mission Church on Saturday, of Miss Edna Rose Waller, fourth daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. Waller, of 29 Brookfield-road, to Mr. William Ernest Riddle, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. George Riddle, of Irchester. Given away by her father, the bride wore a grey costume, with a blue velour hat and shoes and stocking to match. Her bouquet was of red carnations. She was attended by her sister, Miss Florence Riddle who was attired in pale blue georgette with shoes and stockings to match, and carried a bouquet of yellow chrysanthemums. The Rev. E. E. Bromage, conducted the ceremony, and Mr. Bernard Riddle (brother of the bridegroom) of Wellingborough was the best man. Mr. W. Tassell presided at the organ and the hymns “O Perfect Love” and “The voice that breathed o’er Eden,” were sung. A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, and the honeymoon is being spent in London, after which they will reside at Wellingborough. Mr. and Mrs. Riddle were the recipients of many useful presents, including a mirror from the girls at Messrs. J. White’s Ltd.
