Miss B. Reed, a member of the staff at "Darsdale" Home for the Blind, Raunds, celebrated her 21st birthday on Good Friday and invited residents to attend her party.
On Friday evening members of Rushden Full Gospel Church attended for their fortnightly service, and on Easter Morning ten of the residents attended a service at Stanwick Parish Church.
Rushden Full Gospel Church Sunday School pupils, and friends, paid a visit to the Home on Sunday afternoon and gave an entertainment of recitation and singing. In the evening the Rev. A. Brown (vicar) provided a car which took five members to evensong at Raunds Parish Church.
