Mr and Mrs Henry Perkins
Emigrated c1909

Rushden Echo, 17th October 1924, transcribed by Kay Collins

Voyagers Return—Mr and Mrs Henry Perkins, who have been on a visit to England after fifteen years absence, left Rushden this (Friday) afternoon for London, and they will board the Orient liner Ormuz at Tilbury Docks tomorrow morning and set sail for Australia. Unless they have urgent messages requiring them to go straight home, they will spend about a month at Melbourne, where they expect to land on Nov. 26th. During their holiday in this country, since June 17th, Mr and Mrs Perkins have visited many friends as far north as Scarborough and south as far as Bournemouth. They have the cordial wishes of all who know them for a safe and pleasant voyage to the Antipodes.
