Perkins - Dickens

The marriage took place at St. Mary’s Church, on Monday last, of Miss Amy Dickens, daughter of Mrs. Dickens, 45, Harborough-road, Rushden, to Lance-Corporal H. W. Perkins, 103rd Field Ambulance, R.A.M.C., son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Perkins, of 33, Alfred-street, Rushden.  The Rev. P. Robson officiated.  The bride, who was given away by her cousin, Mr. Harry Dickens, was attended by two bridesmaids, Misses Milly Spavins and Evelyn Swingler.  Mr. G. H. Perkins ably discharged the duties of best man.  After the ceremony a reception was held in the St. John Ambulance Association Room.
