One daughter had died but she was represented by a picture in a locket
that Florence had around her neck.

These two pictures are around 1908. David was a shoe factory manager. He played the trombone and was Bandmaster of the Temperance Band.

Born at Rushden, in 1896, Raymond, the 10th of 14 children of David and Sarah Percival. He enlisted at Northampton, but was sadly killed in 1916 in the Great War. The family lived in Oswald Road.

Florence was the eldest girl, and Milly the youngest. Maud was a forewoman at the CWS shoe factory. Winfred later married Albert (known as Allen) Abbott in 1924.
