Miss Dorothy May Parker

The Coming-of-Age of Miss Dorothy May Parker, only daughter of Mr and Mrs Charles Parker, of 20 Duck-street, Rushden, was celebrated on Saturday at the Rushden Adult School Buildings, 68 sitting down to a splendid tea (and being increased to nearly 100 for supper). After tea the rest of the evening was spent in games and dancing. Songs were rendered by Mr S Richardson, Mr Shellard, Mr E Higgins, Mrs A Higgins, and Miss D Parker. The festivities were kept up until midnight. Miss Parker was the recipient of a large number of handsome and useful presents.
