The bride was given away by her brother, Mr. J. Knight, and was tastefully dressed in a brown cashmere skirt and a cream blouse with a brown hat trimmed with white silk and cream roses. She was attended by two bridesmaids, Misses Florence and Beatrice Knight, who wore dresses of white silk trimmed with silk insertion. They also wore black hats lined with pink silk and trimmed to match large plumes at the back. They carried bouquets of white carnations, lilies of the valley, and maiden hair fern, the gift of the bridegroom. Mr. Wm. Knight acted as best man. A reception was subsequently held at the bride’s home, upwards of 40 guests being present. A very pleasant time was spent with music and games. Some useful and beautiful presents were received, amongst them being the following :-

May, sister of bride – bread plate and knife.

Mother of bridegroom – table and four pictures.
Gladys, sister of bridegroom – set of vases.
Mr. J. Knight’s employees – overmantel.
Mrs. Farrow – teapot.
Miss A. Ambridge – two pairs of curtain loops.
Miss E. Stock – dainty camisole.
Miss Ivy Garley – silver fruit bowl.
Miss N. Ager – fancy bag worked with flowers.
Mrs. G. Roberts – duchesse set.
Miss L. Neal – set of jelly dishes and cake stand.
Mrs. Neal – cream jug and sugar basin.
Mrs. Stock – two pairs of pillow slips.
