Miss Winifred P. Page

The Coming of Age of Miss Winifred P. Page, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Page of 79, Robinson Road, Rushden, was celebrated on Saturday in the B.W.T.A. Hall. Mr. Page is well known as the energetic secretary of the Rushden St. John Ambulance Division. Miss Page has for some time been manageress of the Irthlingborough branch of Messrs. H. W. Chapman Ltd., cardboard box manufacturers. About 40 guests sat down to an excellent tea and later on a large number of friends and well wishers arrived, including employees of the Ithlingborough box factory, who presented Miss Page with a silver mounted butter dish and knife. Other handsome presents were also received. Songs etc. were given by Mr. W. Ginns and Miss Ivy Danes and recitation by Master R. Page. Mr. D. Wills and Mr. R. Jephcote were the pianists. The party broke up about 10.30pm.
