Mrs. Rebecca Wright

Mrs. Rebecca Wright, a native and lifelong resident of Rushden, passed away last Friday at 109, Washbrook-road, where she had resided for 25 years. Aged 69, she was the widow of Mr. John Wright, who died in 1922. She had been in failing health for more than a year.

Four sons, Messrs. Ernest, Frank, Sidney and Robert Wright, are bereaved, with two daughters, Mrs. K. Newman and Mrs. L. Ingyon, of Irthlingborough.

The funeral took place at Rushden on Monday, when a service was conduted at St. Peter's Church by the Vicar Rev. P. Barwell Spriggs). The family mourners were Mr. J. E. Wright and Mrs. S. V. Newman (son and daughter), Mr. F. R. Wright and Mrs. G. Ingyon (son and daughter), Messrs. H. S. and R. L. Wright (sons), Mrs. H. Todd and Mrs. G. Smith, Higham Ferrers (sisters), Mrs. G. Ward, Mrs. E. Cox and Mrs. S. Smith (sisters), Mr. S. V. Newman and Mrs. J. E. Wright (son-in-law and daughter-in-law), Mr. G. Ingyon and Mrs. H. S. Wright (son-in-law and daughter-in-law).

Inscriptions on the floral tributes were as follows:
