Death of a Tradesman—We sincerely regret to have to announce the death, which took place last night, of Mr. Charles Ernest Wooding, of the firm of Messrs. Wooding Bros., grocers, of High-street. The deceased, who was 34 years of age, was the third son of Mr. G. Wooding, of Wellingborough. About 18 years ago the deceased was assistant in the grocer’s shop Messrs. B. Denton and Son, High-st, Rushden, and subsequently he had a great deal of experience in various parts of England. Meanwhile his brother, Mr. Frederick Wooding, became manager of Messrs. Denton’s shop, and six months ago the two brothers entered into partnership and purchased the business, which they have since carried on.

Mr. C. E. Wooding, who was unmarried, resided with his brother in Portland-road. He suffered from congestion of the lungs, heart disease, and enlarged liver. Up to a few days ago the deceased was attending to the business, and he gradually sank, passing away at 9.40 last night. Mr. Wooding was greatly respected by all who knew him.
