Rushden Echo & Argus, 26th December 1941
Mr. Frank E. Wills, Rushden

A member of the Licensed Victuallers' Association for about 37 years, Mr. Frank Ernest (Mick) Wills, of 25 Alfred-street, Rushden, passed away on Thursday night, December 18th, after a short illness.

Mr. Wills was the proprietor of an off-licensed shop and for the last 25 years had been an agent for Messrs. Phipps.  He was a popular figure in club life, being a member of the Athletic, Working Men's and Conservative Clubs, and a keen skittles player—a game for which he possessed several medals. Mr. Wills was a native of Spratton.

The bereaved are Mrs. Mary Wills (widow), Mr. Horace Wills, Mr. Leslie Wills, Mr. Harry Wills and Mr. Donald Wills (sons).

The funeral took place on Monday, the service at St. Mary's Church being conducted by the Rev. E. A. Green (Rector) who also officiated at the interment in the Rushden cemetery.
