THE FUNERAL took place on Saturday last at the cemetery of the late Miss Edith Ellen Twelftree, eldest daughter of Mr. Isaac Twelftree, of 178, Wellingborough-road, who passed away last Wednesday week at the age of 25 years, after a long and painful illness, patiently borne. The Rev. W. Bridge, of Wellingborough, conducted the obsequies. The coffin, of polished elm with oak mouldings and nickel fittings, bore the inscription:-
EDITH ELLEN TWELFTREE
Died October 15th, 1918
Aged 25 years.
The mourners comprised: Mr. and Mrs. I. Twelftree (father and step-mother), Master S. Twelftree and Miss D. Twelftree (brother and sister), Mrs. Ashby (grandmother) and Mrs. Watts (aunt), Mr. and Mrs. H. Twelftree (uncle and aunt), and Mrs. Twelftree, of Kettering (aunt).
A number of beautiful wreaths were placed on the grave.
Mr. Arthur Sanders was the undertaker.
