Mrs Thompson

THE FUNERAL of Mrs. Thompson, wife of Mr. Oliver Thompson (a well-known Friendly Society worker), of 150, Cromwell-road, Rushden, took place on Saturday at the Cemetery, the Rector (Rev. P. E. Robson) officiating.  The deceased was 41 years of age.  The mourners were: Mr. Thompson (husband) and Miss Lily Thompson (daughter), Pte. Charles Thompson (son) and Mrs. Bass (mother), Mrs. Harvey and Mrs. Herbert Thompson (sisters), Miss Rose Bass (sister) and Miss Ethel Harvey (niece), Mrs. Neal and Mrs. Eaton (aunts), Mrs. Goosey and Mrs. Jack Thompson (sisters-in-law), Mrs. Starmer (sister-in-law) and Mrs. Barnett (friend).  A number of wreaths were placed on the coffin, including one from the members of Court Alexandria of the Ancient Order of Foresters, of which Mr. Thompson is a much-respected officer.  One son of the deceased lady, (Lance-Corpl. H. Thompson), is serving in France.  Mr. Oliver Thompson and the family desire to return their sincere thanks for the many kind expressions of sympathy with them in the sad bereavement which has befallen them.
