Many friends in Rushden and Kettering will regret to learn that Mrs. Frances Louisa Summerwell passed away on Monday at Crediton, Devon after a long illness. Born at Kettering 61 years ago, the deceased lady was educated at the old British School when Mr. Arthur Lenton was the headmaster. She lived for some years at Rushden with her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Clipson and married at Kettering, Mr. F. Summerwell an outfitter, who survives her. There is one son. Mrs. Summerwell was an ardent Methodist. The funeral took place at Crediton on Thursday.
