Mr Ernest Wilfred Ager Smith, aged 37 years, died on Friday last at his home at 24 Albion-place. He was a native of Rushden and was the son of Mr George Smith, of Ringstead, and the late Mrs Smith. The deceased was formerly a member of the old Temperance Band, and also of the Rushden Town Band. He was employed as a clicker at the factory of Messrs J White Ltd. There are left to mourn their loss the widow and four children. The funeral took place on Tuesday, the Rev C J Keeler officiating. The mourners were Mrs Smith (widow), Mr F Smith (brother), Mrs Green (mother-in-law), Master Donald Smith (son), Mr L Smith, Mrs Brown, Mr S Smith, Mrs Knight, Mr R Smith (brothers and sisters), Mrs Hulatt (aunt), Mr H Smith (brother), Mrs Smith, Mr and Mrs William Green, Mr S Green, Mrs G Green (brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law), and Mr and Mrs Ager (uncle and aunt).
