Rushden Another Skeleton |
On Wednesday last two men were stubbing up an old hedge belonging to Mr. George Skinner, very near the village of Rushden, they came upon some large stones, beneath which they found a skeleton of a man which appeared to have been buried about sixty or seventy years. The teeth were good, but the bones were much decayed. The skeleton lay facing the east and was covered by about two wheelbarrowsful of large stones. |
