baby Shorley

Wellingborough News, 29th July 1882, transcribed by Kay Collins

INQUEST—A coroner's inquest was held in the Vestry Hall, Rushden on Tuesday evening, on the infant child of Mr. Rowland Shorley, whose death took place an hour after birth, no doctor having been present at the confinement. The evidence having shown the child to be very weakly, a verdict of death from natural causes was returned.
