Mrs. Emma Sargent

Death—At 22 York-road, the death took place on Monday of Mrs. Emma Sargent, aged 84. The deceased lady had been in failing health for some time. She was a native of Melchbourne but had lived in Rushden for close on 70 years. Of a retiring disposition, Mrs. Sargent was the widow of Mr. Thomas Sargent, who died 25 years ago. The funeral took place on Wednesday, the Rev. C. J. Keeler being the officiating minister.

The mourners were Mr. A. Sargent (son), Mrs. Cox (daughter), Mr. and Mrs. H. Cooper (son-in-law and daughter), Mr. H. Jaques (grandson), Mrs. J. Lilley (daughter), Mr. and Mrs. J. Burbidge (son-in-law and daughter), Mrs. Sargent (sister-in-law), Mr. A. Clayton (brother-in-law), Mrs. H. Jaques (granddaughter), and Mr. J. Lilley (grandson).
