Mrs. Harriett Louisa Sanders

The Interment took place on Monday of the late Mrs. Harriett Louisa Sanders, aged 36, wife of Mr. W. B. Sanders, currier, Rushden, whose death occurred yesterday week at their residence 275, Wellingborough-road, Rushden, from heart failure after she had given birth to a son. The deceased was a native of Twywell, but had lived most of life in Rushden. For several years she was a member of at Peter's Choir and a Sunday school teacher. The funeral was conducted by the Vicar (Rev. Ion Carroll) and a service was held in St. Peter's Church, followed by the burial at the Cemetery. The mourners were Mr. W. B. Sanders (husband), Mm. H. Sanders (sister), Mr. J. Briggs (father), Miss Mabel Briggs (sister); Misses May, Gertrude, Elsie and Gladys Briggs (sisters); Mr. H. Sanders (brother-in-law), Mrs. Abbott (aunt); Mr. Roberts (friend), Miss L. Briggs (aunt); Mrs. Green, Mr. H. Sanders (brother-in-law); Mr. and Mrs. F. Briggs, of Harrow (uncle and aunt); Mrs. Shorley and Nurse Goosey, Mr. Arthur Sanders carried out the funeral arrangements. Mother and son were buried in the same coffin. The grave was lined with evergreens and a floral cross at the head. There were many beautiful wreaths.
