Funeral of Mrs. E. Sail

There was a wreath from the British Legion Women's Section at the funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth Sail, at Rushden.

Aged 82 Mrs. Sail died last Friday at her residence, 35, Crabb Street. She was a native and life-long resident of the town and her husband, Mr. Herbert Sail, passed away in November, 1940.

A long-standing member of the Women's Adult School and of the British Legion, Mrs. Sail attended Park Road Baptist Church for many years. Four sons and three daughters are bereaved.

The funeral service was conducted at the home by the Rev R. P. Jones in the presence of the following mourners: Mr. William Sail, Mrs. Wright. Mr. Owen Sail, Mrs. Jeffries, Mrs. H. J. Tye, of Flexton, Manchester, Mr. George Sail, Mr. Herbert Sail, Irthlingborough (sons and daughters), Mrs. W. Sail, G. Sail, Mr. Ralph Wright, Mr. F. Jeffries, Mr. H. J. Tye, Mrs. H. Sail (sons-in-law and daughters-in-law), Mrs, Cyril Butler, Mr Clifford Jeffries, Mrs. Sherwin Smith of Crosshills, Yorks (niece), and Mrs. Wilmott (friend).
