Mr Frederick James Riddle
Death of Old Bandsman

A well-known local bandsman—a cornet player—Mr Frederick James Riddle, of 28, Talbot Road, Rushden, died at Northampton General Hospital following a an operation on Tuesday. He was 61.

Mr. Riddle, whe was born at Earls Barton, had lived in Rushden for 45 years and was a former member of the Temperance Band and other local bands. He was also associated with the British Legion. For the past four and a half years he had worked as a foreman closer for Denbros, Rushden.
